Shrimp Croffle

  • 1 raw and risen croissant (frozen and thawed or crescent roll in cans work)
  • 1/2 lb of raw shrimp peeled and deveined, tails off
  • 1 head of romain lettuce shredded
  • Cajun spice
  • 1/4 cup 100% real maple syrup
  • 1 can Chipotle peppers
  • 1 cup of mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pan spray

* a waffle iron is needed


  1. Heat waffle iron and make sure that your croissants are risen to the proper size (usually double).
  2. Spay waffle iron with non stick spray and place croissant into it and press and cooked for about 4 minutes or until golden brown and set aside. In separate fry pan, saute shrimp in Cajun spice until done, set shrimp aside.
  3. In food processor add mayo, maple syrup and 1 chipotle pepper blend until smooth.


Take croissant waffle and place on plate, top waffle with lettuce, then shrimp and drizzle with mayo sauce.
